Paa!to

In 2023 I teamed up with 6 other students to launch Paa!to, a plastic recycling workshop focused on reusing HDPE, PP, and PLA 3D printing waste on campus. With 10k in funding, we sourced equipment and materials, and developed hands-on workshops that gave students a practical introduction to plastic recycling and circular making. We developed a bottle cap collection box that was placed at Space 21 on Aalto Campus and was later to be placed around other points on campus, but the project pivoted to focusing on 3D printed PLA waste only.

The project later continued within Design Factory, and it has been rewarding to see it develop there.
